Why Do I Get Jealous in My Relationship With a Woman?

One of the main reason men get jealous in relationships is because of their irrational thoughts and beliefs. We all have beliefs about how things should be and what other people's actions actually mean, but jealous men usually have irrational beliefs that are unrealistic, and it helps to identify those beliefs and to challenge them, because doing so will help us to overcome the jealousy that we experience, as feelings of jealousy stem largely from irrational beliefs about a threat and NOT from the threat itself.

Lets assume for a moment that we have a real threat to your relationship and something you feel jealous about.. If we think deeply we can identify what is at the core of our feelings of jealousy, and what irrational beliefs we have about it.

So lets take the example of our woman looking at another man. An overly jealous man might think to himself that because she is looking at another man, it means that he is not good enough. Or he might assume that she is looking at another man because she is attracted to him or because he is better looking than her man.

This belief is clearly irrational and is not helping the man in question. We need to question these kinds of beliefs and understand why it is not true. It's not helping because it is not always true, and because it causes the man to feel jealousy and behave in a manner that is more likely for him to lose the relationship.
