Who Do You Love Most?

When we talk about relationship health we always focus on building a better relationship. There are so many different ways to look at things from self-realization to discovering your partners relationship style. It is important to take the time and evaluate the basis of a good relationship. I have made many suggestions that one of the surest ways to relationship health is to start with oneself.

The idea that one can achieve balance in a relationship without factoring yourself into the equation is preposterous as we all know but have you ever considered the silent partner? In every relationship that you have whether it be a romantic one or a friendship type the silent partner plays a huge part and yet is so often overlooked. It is important to keep God at the center of your life in all areas. If you want to experience harmony, understanding and clarity in your relationship it is important to honor God first. The bible says "seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you.".

You must honor God in your life. One of the first steps is to devote time to God through daily meditation, prayer or scripture. When you are at peace spiritually, everything else will just seem to fall in place.

Love one another for love comes from God. Let your gentleness be evident to all and allow the peace of God to rule in your heart. What a wonderful gift to be able to take into your relationship the fruit of the spirit. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

According to the scriptures, we are instructed to have genuine care and concern resulting in self-sacrificial attitudes and actions towards your partner.

By putting God first, your life will be changed and you will never be the same. God wants to bless you and your life, but He wants your attention. Jeremiah 17:7 says "The Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him."

By following the teachings put out to us by the bible your relationship will blossom. It will be balanced, harmonious, and blessed.
