Find Out If Someone Has Been Married

When it comes to ways of how to find out if someone has been married, the debate is usually between free services and paid services. One thing that I will tell you from the onset is that if you are serious about finding this information out you should be prepared to pay for it. Even you had to use state services to request the information; you will still be required to pay. So forget about those places that say they have free marriage records.

With most of the states it is records that are usually 50 years old or more that are free and available. This is usually in the form of a fiche, disc or downloadable version. I am sure though that you are not interested in records that are more than fifty years old. If you are interested in searching through current records then use premium services.

You will actually be surprised at how much premium services charge. Their payments are so low for the convenience they provide, they are worth it. If you want to find out if someone has been married then you can search from places like USsearch.com or Intellius.com. They have quite an impressive collection of public records; you should be able to get the info you want from here.

One place that claims to have the largest collection of public records is Archives.com. You can also try a search from there and see whether or not you can pick up the person you are interested in from there.

Considering that you do not have to pay to search, the service is worth trying. You will have the option of searching through specific states or the entire country. My advice to you is start the search narrow and then make it wider if you do not get any results. If you want find out if someone has been married you will get an answer from anyone of the above places.
