Biblical Christian Marriage Advice

Marriage is not easy. The notion that because you are a Christian it is any easier is misguided. Christian marriages face the same issues as any others as well as their own unique challenges. So what can you do to improve your marriage?

You might be familiar with the famous Bible verses in 1 Corinthians 13 where Paul writes that love is patient, kind, and not jealous. Further on he mentions that love "endures all things." Within a Christian marriage, there will be trials and tribulations. The important thing is to realize that you have to be patient and know that you can overcome any of your problems.

As a married Christian couple, to have a solid relationship with each other, you both need to have a solid relationship with God. Read the Bible together. Read passages about love and marriage. This is a healthy first step to getting on the right track. Make the commitment to each other to make an effort.

It may just be that your marriage just needs a spark. Christian couples retreats offer a great way to get closer with your spouse and talk about the issues you are facing in a comfortable and supporting environment.

You can also open up the lines of communication in the bedroom. Seeking the aid of a Biblical Christian sex guide can help you overcome some of the walls you've put up and help you to open up to each other emotionally.

If you and your spouse both make a pledge to make things better, to work on, and improve your Christian marriage, you can succeed. Keep your building your relationship with the Lord and with each other and everything will be okay.
